What is JUST ASK JOHN?

JUST ASK JOHN is a blog of answers to frequently asked estate planning questions, with videos and articles by Hawaii attorney John Roth. What started as a newspaper column in the North Hawaii News and West Hawaii Today has grown into a trove of answers to the most asked questions about wills, pet trusts, and everything in between. Estate planning can be overwhelming, John tries to take the stress out of it.

This blog does not contain legal advice. You should not rely on this to determine what is in your own best interest. For legal advice, specific to your situation, you must meet with an attorney. All posts are based on hypothetical scenarios, not the actual circumstances of real clients.
